RACGP releases new topics for ‘First do no harm’ guide in general practice

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) has released new topics as part of First do no harm: a guide to choosing wisely in general practice’.

This living guide helps GPs and patients to make shared decisions on evidence-based health care, with QR codes for patients to access information during the consultation.

The new clinical topic provides information for both GPs and patients on opioids to treat chronic non-cancer pain (CNCP)

Three brand new associated topics have also been released, which provides further information on the causes of low-value care and how to overcome these challenges:
