Opportunity to provide feedback on the ‘Improved access to psychological services in residential aged care facilities’ initiative

  27 September 2021  NWMPHN

The Australian Department of Health has commissioned Australian Healthcare Associates (AHA) to evaluate the ‘Improved access to psychological services in residential aged care facilities’ initiative.

The evaluation aims to explore how the initiative has been rolled out in different parts of the country, what has worked well, and where there are opportunities to improve.

AHA is seeking feedback from GPs and other health professionals who may visit participating aged care facilities and/or who refer residents to the program.

In the North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network region the service is being delivered by mental health clinicians from Better Place Australia.

A survey is open until 11.59 pm AEDT on Sunday, 17 October 2021. It is entirely voluntary, will take about 10 to 15 minutes, and can be completed anonymously if you wish.

 Access the survey.

More information is available on the AHA website and information sheet (.pdf).
