The Fairfield Balint Group is currently taking expressions of interest for new members.

This multidisciplinary group provides an opportunity to discuss and reflect on participants’ clinical cases with particular attention to the psychological dimensions of clinical work and to the clinician-patient relationship. Prospective members can be anyone doing clinical work including GPs, psychiatrists, other medical specialists, psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors and other health practitioners.

The group meets monthly on Tuesdays over a light lunch in Fairfield*. The venue is easily accessed by freeway or rail.

The group is facilitated by Marion Lustig, a psychiatrist, psychoanalytic psychotherapist and highly experienced Balint group leader. Marion founded the Balint Society of Australia.

If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Marion Lustig by email marion-lustig@bigpond.com or phone: 0407 342 882.
