Exploring GP-patient relationships

We are seeking GPs and their practices willing to participate in a study exploring how healing GP-patient relationships are experienced and cultivated.

Patients of consenting GPs will be invited to complete an initial patient survey, after which a smaller number of patients and their GPs will be invited to participate in semi-structured interviews and complete an additional questionnaire. Interview participants will be compensated for their time with a $50 Coles/Myer gift voucher.

We anticipate that your involvement will benefit patients and the general practice community by providing a foundation for clearer communication and enhanced provision of relationship based whole person care in Australian general practice.
