Participating GPs will also connect with an experienced mentor while engaging with further MATOD-related education.

This program is open to GPs who are accredited to prescribe MATOD and are currently working in Victoria. Participating GPs will be remunerated for training time (see the MATOD Clinical Placement Program GP Guide).

The Program is split into two sections:

  • Level 1, 4 weeks: Online coursework (8 hours in total) and Observership Clinical Placement (4 hours per week)
  • Level 2, 8 weeks: Supervised Practice Clinical Placement (4 hours per week)

Level 1 can be undertaken as a standalone program if desired. Completion of Level 1 is a pre-requisite for participation in Level 2 and priority will be given to applicants completing both programs.

Places are limited, so apply ASAP. To apply, use the Expression of Interest (EOI) application form.
