AusDoc’s MBS Quick Guide for July is now available, which includes updated rebates with indexation for the new financial year.
New items for mental health case conferencing will also come into effect from July 1. These are available to patients with a mental health or eating disorder treatment plan, and at if least two other relevant treating team members attend the conference. This can include a psychiatrist, paediatrician, MBS-accredited psychologist or dietitian.
The choice of appropriate item number varies, based on whether the conference is organised by the GP or one of the other team members, and based on the duration of the conference.
The listed DVA items and fees for veteran’s health checks are current from 1 March 2023, according to the most recent update available at time of publication.
