Palliative care

Banksia Palliative Care Service (BPCS) is pleased to invite you to participate in a series of webinars specifically designed to demonstrate the benefits of partnerships between GPs and Community Palliative Care Services in achieving best outcomes for patients, carers and the service providers.

The online sessions, written and presented by practising community Palliative Care Medical Specialists, Nurses and Social Workers, run over 4 consecutive weeks.

Patients with life limiting illnesses may develop urgent and complicated symptom management issues at home. This session will consider the assessment and management of complex palliative care issues in the community, and the role of GPs and CPCS, particularly when patients or their families prefer to remain at home.

Presenter

Dr Bonnie Liu - Palliative Care Physician and Geriatrician

This meeting will be held on Microsoft Teams. A link will be sent to all attendees.
