Banksia Palliative Care Service (BPCS) is pleased to invite you to participate in a series of webinars specifically designed to demonstrate the benefits of partnerships between GPs and Community Palliative Care Services in achieving best outcomes for patients, carers and the service providers.

The online sessions, written and presented by practising community Palliative Care Medical Specialists, Nurses and Social Workers, run over 4 consecutive weeks.

This session will explore essential conversations that must be conducted by health professionals when a patient is living with a life-limiting illness, and discusses the difficulties of having honest conversations with sensitivity and compassion, whilst sometimes managing heightened emotions and confronting content. It will also look at ethical issues that the palliative care team encounters regularly, and will highlight end of life decision making and how it influences care delivery.

Presenter

Dr Chien Lin - Palliative Care Physician and GP

This meeting will be held on Microsoft Teams. A link will be sent to all attendees.
