Speaker - Professor Paul Van Buynder

Professor Van Buynder is a Public Health Physician who holds a Professorship at Griffith University in the School of Medicine, with a focus on vaccinology. He has worked in senior health positions in a number of Australian states, in Canada and in the Centre for Infections in London managing respiratory disease programs for the United Kingdom. His research interests are in new vaccines and vaccine hesitancy.

He is the author of over 60 book chapters and refereed journal articles. He has special interests in children and vaccines, in influenza and in other infections.
