Join us at our Practice Manager Peer Connect meetings - a new opportunity for practice managers to connect, share, and grow together. Whether you’re new to the role or a seasoned leader, these sessions are designed to support and inspire. All practice managers are welcome to attend all meetings.
Preparing for accreditation under the RACGP Standards for General Practices 6th Edition? NWMPHN has engaged QIP Consulting to deliver this interactive Practice Manager Peer Connect session, designed to help practices understand the key changes introduced in the new Standards and what they mean for general practice teams.
Presented by Riley O'Hanlon, National Manager, QIP Consulting, the session will provide practical guidance on transitioning to the 6th Edition and introduce NWMPHN's new accreditation template suite, developed to support practices with implementation, documentation and evidence collection.
Through practical examples, discussion and a case study from a local practice manager, participants will explore how the new Standards can be applied in practice and how the template suite can support day-to-day systems, documentation and evidence requirements. The practice manager will share their recent accreditation experience, including the support provided by NWMPHN staff throughout the process.
Topics that will be discussed are:
- Digital Health and AI
- Environmental Sustainability
- Document Management
- Strategic Planning
- DFV training
- Antimicrobial stewardship
- Informed consent
- Partnering with consumers
