Nurse Ambassador Program For Nurses in Victoria

Cancer Council Victoria is offering a Nurse Ambassador Program and seeking practice nurses and community nurses looking to broaden their scope of practice to include cancer screening and prevention activities across their whole organisation.

The program will:

• Be practical and interactive
• Build the capacity of nurses to support under-screened communities to participate in cancer screening
• Facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience with peers
• Explore case studies, devise strategies, and provide networking opportunities
• Equip nurses with the most up-to-date research from experts in the cancer screening field

Day 1: Tuesday 11th of September
Day 2: Thursday 11th of October

At the completion of the two-day workshop, nurses will be recognised as Cancer Screening Ambassadors by Cancer Council Victoria.
