This session is suitable for experienced practices who wish to elevate their accreditation performance and have previously successfully undertaken accreditation. This session presumes good basic understanding of the Standards for General Practices (5th Edition).

Speaker - Riwka Hagen

Starting her professional career as a medical scientist, Riwka successfully implemented and managed a regional laboratory of a major pathology provider before embarking on a career of medical practice management and general practice accreditation. She has managed small, medium and large medical centres and has a strong interest in leadership development and coaching, quality improvement, governance, business planning and financial management. 

Riwka is the director of Medical Business Services providing consulting, advisory, coaching, training and mentoring services to the Australian health sector including general practices and primary health networks. 

Riwka is also an experienced board director in the health sector and is the founder of the highly active and influential Practice Managers Network - Facebook group, which now has a global membership of 8500 users.
