Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness training for non-RACGP members in general practices

North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) are offering free self-directed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness training to non-member general practices.

This is an opportunity to take advantage of a valuable training usually only offered free to RACGP members.

The training is a 6-hour online module covering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and history. It is designed to enhance cultural awareness for practice staff, and thus improve health outcomes for patients. By participating in this training, your practice may be eligible to apply for the Australian Government’s Practice Incentives Program (PIP) Indigenous Health Incentive.
