NSW Health is calling on health professionals to help track respiratory illness in the community.

FluTracking is an online surveillance system that allows members of the public and health professionals to report symptoms of respiratory illness.

This data can inform public health decisions through better understanding community transmission.Promotional flyer for the Flutracking program

Participation is easy – it takes less than 30 seconds each week to submit your symptoms online.

Together, we can track respiratory illness to better protect Australia.

By joining FluTracking, you can make a difference beyond your usual duties. Your surveys provide critical insights into how respiratory illness is spreading across different regions and populations. This empowers communities to implement timely protective measures with weekly reports and a heat-map.

Anyone can participate: sick or healthy, vaccinated or unvaccinated.

Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute. Join your colleagues and register here today.

As respected voices in the community, widespread involvement from health professionals would encourage higher public participation too.
