Free suicide intervention workshops for LGBTIQ+ people and allies

  15 March 2021  NWMPHN

North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN) has partnered with LivingWorks Australia to host free LGBTIQ+ safeTALK and ASIST suicide intervention workshops in March, April and May.

The sessions are open to anyone from LGBTIQ+ communities and their allies who live or work in the NWMPHN catchment. The training will help participants recognise a person with thoughts of suicide and connect them with resources who can help them to keep safe from acting on their thoughts of suicide.

These sessions are free as part of our LGBTIQ Suicide Prevention Trial.
