This workshop is designed for all practitioners who work with interpreters in transcultural situations and are familiar with concepts of cultural responsiveness.

This workshop will explore:
• applicability of cultural safety and cultural humility in the interpreted encounter
• the role of the interpreter and the practitioner
• engagement strategies prior to, during and after the interpreted encounter
• individual and institutional responsibilities when using interpreters
