Eastern Melbourne PHN (EMPHN) invites Pharmacists to an interactive session focusing on the use of the My Health Record system and the benefits and value for Pharmacists.

The national My Health Record system, driven by the Australian Digital Health Agency, is an electronic summary of individual's health information. It can be securely shared online between the individual and their healthcare providers involved, and improve patient health outcomes.

The aim of this event is to inform Pharmacists in Victoria about the My Health Record program and how they can interact with the system.

This activity has been accredited for 2 hours of Group 1 CPD (or 2 CPD credits) suitable for inclusion in an individual pharmacist’s CPD plan which can be converted to 2 hours of Group 2 CPD (or 4 CPD credits) upon successful completion of relevant assessment activities.

  • Demonstrate the processes involved in implementing and adopting My Health Record as part of your clinical workflow
  • Describe the privacy and security obligations of the pharmacy profession in relation to My Health Record, and how this can be communicated to patients

  • Recall where to access further information and support resources about My Health Record
