This seminar is going to provide interested GP's with an insight into transgender identity and practical medical tips that will help GP's to support transgender patients better.

Transgender patients have poorer physical and mental health outcomes, largely due to stigma and minority stress. There is currently an access crisis for supportive medical care in Melbourne.

This seminar will give GPs access to the present guidelines and treatment recommendations, and also information about where to access advice for complex questions.

Speakers are:

Starlady, Program Manager for the Zoe Belle Gender collective and Member – Victorian State Government's Trans Expert Advisory Group.

Dr. Michelle Dutton, FRACGP, GP with special interest in transgender health.
