This event features expert panels, Q&As, and group sessions on the management of common cancers presented in general practice. The program, developed in consultation with GPs, collates the latest in haematology and oncology therapy and techniques, and interprets these for real life general practice.
Highlights include updates in precision cancer treatment and immunotherapy, advances in technology and
pharmacotherapy, contemporary approaches to pain management and updates in advanced care planning including earlier engagement with supportive care services.
The program follows a lecture-style approach with break-out sessions, expert panel discussions and the opportunity for questions and interaction from the audience.
