SafeScript: case-based discussion for GPs and pharmacists

An evening to discuss case studies for GPs and pharmacists using SafeScript, emphasising the importance of collaborative approaches to manage patients with high risk medication regimes.

Registrations and light dinner will commence from 6.00pm- 6.30pm 
Case Discussion: 6.30pm - 8.30pm.

By the end of this session you will be able to:

• Apply best practice management approaches for patients presenting with high risk opioid medication regimens.
• Learn strategies to more effectively engage patients in assessing and managing their opioid use
• Implement practice-wide systems and collaborative approaches to respond to issues arising in the context of SafeScript
• Learn what resources and supports are available to assist with opioid presentations in general practice.
