Refugee & Asylum Seeker Health Study Day

We are welcoming all health professionals or people working in the health sector to come to the Refugee & Asylum Seeker Health Study Day at the Sunshine Hospital

We have some wonderful topics being covered on the day including:
• Current Trends in Refugee and Asylum Seeker policy
• The Foundation House framework regarding the impact of Torture and Trauma
• Identification and discussion of appropriate interventions aligned to Infectious Diseases and Paediatric clinical presentations
• Current pathways into and out of Acute Care
• Incorporating cultural sensitivity within your practice

We are also thrilled to announce there will be a performance from Fofo (Fostin Nshimirimana) during the day.

The day will be catered for by the ASRC, and while eating the delicious food you will be able to appreciate the Our Shared Humanity Art Display generously donated by cohealth.

There will be a $50 charge to cover the day.
