Practice Managers Network Meetings

Practice Managers Network (PMN) provides a forum for discussion about key practice management issues. The PMN will provide an avenue of consultation and input into North Western Melbourne PHN activity, needs assessments and program development. In addition, the PMN will be a platform for learning, professional networking, debriefing, sharing resources and promoting primary health initiatives. 

Guest speaker, Rachael Ball (Quality Use of Medicines Lead) will be discussing 'SafeScript', real-time prescription monitoring, and how it can be used in general practice.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the session, you will be able to:     

• Outline what is 'SafeScript' and how GPs at your clinic can use it.
• List key rationale behind the introduction of ‘SafeScript’ to monitor the supply of high-medicines.
• Describe the process that GPs at your practice must undertake to access 'SafeScript'.
