By the end of 2018, a My Health Record will be created for every Australian, unless they choose not to have one. My Health Record will provide better connected care for healthcare professionals and patients. 

In partnership with the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA), North Western Melbourne PHN is hosting a free My Health Record information session for healthcare professionals and administration staff. 

With the recent high-profile coverage about the My Health Record, we invite you to participate in a Q&A discussion regarding the system. Responses to your questions will be answered by Vandana Chandnani from the ADHA. 

Submit your questions prior to the event at MyHR@nwmphn.org.au   

Learning outcomes

The ADHA will provide an overview of My Health Record including: 

  • the benefits of the system;  

  • patient opt-out process; 

  • security features;  

  • answers to your questions in relation to the system.
