The Identifying Family Violence training is designed for workers who are not directly involved in family violence service delivery, but who may encounter women and children who are experiencing, or at risk of, family violence. For example workers from, local council, schools, hospitals, community health, financial counselling, and so on.

Participants will increase their understanding of family violence, learn how to identify family violence, gain strategies to respond to disclosures, and learn about safety measures and appropriate referrals. Both sessions will be delivered by a specialist family violence trainer.

Training is free to attend and refreshments will be provided, however we ask that you register to attend as spaces are limited.
