This session will review a practice's responsibilities with digital communication.
As practices become increasingly reliant on digital communication the risks associated with this type of communication are becoming more apparent. These risks can include cyber threats, data loss and patient privacy. This session will provide information on understanding the processes and outline a a practice's responsibilities to enable a practice to manage this essential communication safely and minimise risks.

Ruth Crampton - Manager, Member Education
Ruth has a nursing background and postgraduate qualifications in education. She has published research from her PhD and been the keynote speaker at several international health and nursing conferences. Her education experience has been varied in hospital, university and corporate environments. With a focus on promoting quality, safety and professionalism for the medical profession her role involves coordinating medico-legal education.
