This Small Group Learning (SGL) is aimed to support you in your practice. Meet with like-minded general practitioners to discuss a range of topics selected and agreed on by you, the participants, at a time which is convenient for you.
During this first session, GPs will choose which AOD topics they would like to cover and dates of follow up sessions (4 sessions). AOD topics can include:
- pharmacotherapy,
- alcohol in pregnancy,
- benzo reduction,
- amphetamines.
Come along, learn, share your knowledge and expertise. Sessions will be supported by a skilled facilitator, knowledge champions, evidence-based resources and relevant case studies.
- explore the possible future direction of the HealthPathways Program in the AOD space
- explore key ideas for improving service referral knowledge
- peer to peer support for pharmacotherapy
- journal article review & discussion of AOD hot topics
- guest speaker presentations on areas agreed on by all SGL members
