This session has been developed to assist GPs and Pharmacists to reduce the growing harms, including deaths, from high-risk prescription medicines. These training sessions will include information on addressing local issues which impact the patient.

Registrations 6:30pm-7:00pm, Session 7:00pm-9:00pm

Learning outcomes:

By the end of this session you will be able to:

Demonstrate how to effectively reduce risks associated with misuse of drugs
Identify and create referral process for the at risk complex person
Identify and discuss the benefits of reduced misuses of prescribed medication
Outline and document the risks of continuous use of high-risk prescription medicines
