Health Cares about Family Violence Forum

Western Health would like to invite you to a day of education to raise awareness of Family Violence in health care settings.

Internationally, ‘Health Cares about Family Violence Day’ occurs annually on the second Wednesday of October each year, and aims to;

• Reach members of the healthcare and advocacy communities
• Offer education about the critical importance of universal education regarding family violence
• Promote healthy relationships
• Address the health impacts of violence across the lifespan

Western Health’s theme for 2017 is: Health Equity Responses across the Lifespan
