This session provides primary health care professionals with strategies for an effective reminder and recall system using a preventative health management approach.

Learning objectives:

  • Develop an understanding of systematic preventative health management
  • Design an effective recall and reminder system
  • Use actions for preventative health activities
  • Add, view and modify patient recalls and reminders
  • Generate patient recall and reminder lists
Facilitated by Ms Katrina Otto.
Ms Katrina Otto is an independent medical software trainer and Director of Train IT Medical. She is an approved trainer for MedicalDirector, Best Practice software, Pen Clinical Systems, Avant and Tyro. Katrina is a member of the Australian Association of Practice Managers and an Accredited Ausyralian Skills Quality Authority trainer. 
Over a 26- year career, Katrina has managed several practices and accredited day surgery facilities. She is a qualified teacher and has also worked as a part-time TAFE teacher for over 20 years. In this role, she is responsible for designing and delivering accredited qualifications ranging from Diploma of Practice Management to Certificate I in Information technology.

This will be an interactive online session and Katrina welcomes questions. Formal Presentation and resources will be shared.
